WELCOME TO
MINOR MEMORIAL
You are welcome here! We would love for you to come and visit our congregation. You do not need to be a member of Minor Memorial to participate in any of the activities, studies, or small groups. We have many opportunities for worship and Bible study for all ages.
What Should I Wear?
You will find people dressed in everything from blue jeans and
t-shirts to suits and dresses.
Our style of worship is more traditional. Feel free to come as you are.
What About My Kids?
Sunday Morning 10:30am Worship
Nursery available for infants & toddlers
WOW (Worship Our Way) is available for children through 5th grade. They will sit in the sanctuary with you until they are dismissed for WOW.

Wednesdays at 6:00pm is Kids for Christ for ages 4 - 5th grade. They meet in the Education Building.
Where do I Park?
There are parking lots on both sides of the main building. However, we recommend parking in the west parking area for the easiest access to the nursery and sanctuary. Plus it has plenty of spots!

How do I participate in Worship? There are several ways that you can worship with us! In-Person - We are holding in person worship every Sunday at 10:30 A.M. We have communion the first Sunday of each month. Our church choir is always welcome to new members and is currently meeting after worship on Sundays to practice. Online - We live stream our Sunday worship service and special services on YouTube and Facebook.

Where Is the Nursery?A nursery is provided for infants and toddlers in our Education Building. If you are parking in the western parking area you can follow the signs to the nursery which will be in the large building on your left as you walk towards the main entrance. If you are parking in the east parking area, when you walk through the glass entrance doors, walk completely through the Narthex and go outside the opposite entrance doors. The education building will be on your right. Please ask someone at the Welcome Table if you need assistance.
-
Will I be pointed out as a visitor? We do not point you out or make you stand during the service. We definitely want you to feel welcomed, but not put on the spot. Our congregation is small enough that we "usually" know if you are new and you should have folks speak to you and welcome you. It's uncommon to come to Minor Memorial UMC and have no one talk to you...unless you slip in late and slip out early! If you visit and do not feel welcomed, please let Rev. Amanda know!
-
What size is your congregation?Since March 2020 (COVID) our numbers have not returned to normal, but are steadily growing. We average 80-100 in person worship right now with a membership over 300.

How do I become a member? After participating in the life of the church, if you become interested in joining Minor Memorial, you are encouraged to reach out to Rev. Amanda or sign up for the short term study, A Disciple's Path. This will be offered at various points throughout the year. We ask people to come regularly for a few months before considering membership. We want you to take time to know us and pray about making Minor Memorial your home. We accept Christian baptism from other denominations; however, if you have never been baptized then this will be part of the process of joining the church.

Can I talk to someone? Please do not hesitate to contact our pastor, Rev. Amanda, with any questions or to set up a time to meet.
